BTS's Jin To Make Solo Comeback With New Album In November?

BTS’s Jin, who completed his mandatory military service in June, is gearing up for his highly anticipated solo comeback. Reports suggest that the K-pop star is working hard on a new album, set to release this fall. In response to the rumours, BTS’s agency, BigHit Music, confirmed the news, stating, “Jin is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of releasing it in November. Detailed information will be disclosed once it is confirmed,” as quoted by Soompi. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates on his return to the music scene.

The solo comeback follows his latest release, the Super Tuna on October 11, which signalled another quick turnaround for the K-pop idol. It is worth mentioning that Jin previously teased his solo project when he posted the tracklist for Jimin’s second solo album. “Jimin, I’m next. I’ll be singing next too in June,” he wrote, raising a lot of expectations among fans. At that time, he was said to be preparing for the album amid his busy schedule after military discharge.

Meanwhile, Jin has already received a lot of praise for his solo debut single, The Astronaut, followed by solo songs like Awake, Epiphany and Abyss. The upcoming album is likely to bring a different side of the singer as a solo vocalist.

Jin’s Activities After Military Discharge

Jin, the eldest member of the group, was discharged from the South Korean military on June 12, 2024, and has been on a roll ever since. From hosting his first fan hug meet to becoming the torchbearer at the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony, the singer has been showing a complete mix of entertainment and love for his fans. “I recorded and filmed a variety show. I will try to show my face as much as possible and work on my main job,” Jin announced on Weverse after resuming work.

On the work front, Jin recently unveiled an extended version of the popular solo track Super Track a few days ago. He is also slated to appear in the Netflix show Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
