BLACKPINK member Lisa has allegedly turned down a renewal offer from YG Entertainment, her current agency, a new erport has claimed. It is no secret that BLACKPINK members’ contract with YG is expiring soon. While South Korean stars usually renew the contract and continue to stay with their original labels, a few stars are known to leave the agencies as well after the contract has ended. Going by the rumours and reports, it seems like BLACKPINK member Lisa could be seeking a new agency. Many agencies are also making jaw-dropping offers. However, YG is trying its best to retain her.
So much so that YG Entertainment allegedly has even presented a contract of ₩50.0 billion KRW (about $37.7 million USD) to her. But Lisa has allegedly rejected the offer. “There have been rumors claiming Lisa has received offers from labels overseas, including Thailand, worth tens of millions of dollars,” a source told Star News.
“There is also a rumor stating that Lisa already rejected YG’s first offer and recently rejected a second offer. The size of the contract is rumored to be worth ₩50.0 billion KRW (about $37.7 million USD),” the outlet’s insider added.
Lisa and YG Entertainment are yet to comment on the report.
Meanwhile, Lisa is also making the headlines for her alleged relationship with Frédéric Arnault, the CEO of TAG Heuer. As reported by AllKPop, it is claimed that Lisa and Frédéric spent time with her family in Thailand. As per the report, Frédéric Arnault was in Thailand to attend the opening ceremony of a ‘TAG Heuer’ flagship. It is claimed that Lisa and Frédéric went boating on the Chao Phraya River and the K-pop star’s parents parents also accompanied them.
The rumour of their relationship began earlier this summer. Lisa and Frédéric were photographed during dinner in France in July, sparking rumours of them dating.
