Study finds it's not the laddish attitude, but chivalrous behaviour that appeals more to the fair sex.
London: Blokes, please note -- it's not the laddish attitude, but chivalrous behaviour that appeals more to the fair sex, according to a new study.
The study, based on a survey of 2,000 people, has found that men have finally realised that chivalrous behaviour is more attractive to women than simply a laddish attitude, the 'Daily Express' reported.
In the survey for Lixx vodka, two-fifths of men said they were now more likely to open doors and pull out chairs for prospective partners, while 52 per cent of women said paying them a compliment was the best way to get a date.
Only seven per cent of men still rely on corny chat-up lines, the survey found.
