RIP Ratan Tata: TV Celebrities Archana Puran Singh, Divyanka Tripathi And Munmun Dutta Pay Tribute
Numerous television personalities, including Aly Goni, Munmun Dutta, Saurabh Raaj Jain, Divyanka Tripathi and Archana Puran Singh, paid tribute to the legendary industrialist.

Legendary industrialist Ratan Tata passed away on October 9 at the age of 86, leaving the entire country heartbroken. He died at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, where he was admitted a few days earlier due to old age-related health issues.

Following his passing, tributes have started pouring in from all sections, including politicians, industry leaders, celebrities and sports persons, among others.

Many television personalities, including Aly Goni, Munmun Dutta, Saurabh Raaj Jain, Divyanka Tripathi and Archana Puran Singh, among others, also expressed their heartfelt condolences, while remembering his contributions for the nation.

Archana Puran Singh shared a lengthy message on Instagram, where she recalled her first meeting with Ratan Tata. She revealed how that meeting inspired her to achieve her dreams and shaped her into the person she is today. The actress also shared her sadness for not meeting him again and personally thanking him for the inspiration.

She wrote, “Rest in peace, sir. I met you long, long ago, a young girl all set to enter the land of her dreams. During our hour-long conversation little did a young me realise that I was meeting the living legend Ratan Tata, and you graciously gave no indication of just how precious your time was. You gave me your undivided attention as I prattled on about my dreams of making it big in Bombay city and you were kind, supportive and inspiring in the words of advice you gave me.”

“I write this post in gratitude and regret; gratitude for your words that inspired me and strengthened my resolve to become what I have over these past few decades, and regret for not having been able to thank you for the same, and for never having been able to meet you a second time to personally express my deepest admiration for your integrity, honesty, your philanthropy, your nationalism and so much more,” Archana Puran Singh added.

Remembering the business tycoon, Aly Goni wrote, “A monumental loss for India and the world. Ratan Tata was more than a business icon. RIP Sir. It’s huge loss.”

Shakti Arora added, “Rest in peace, Mr Tata. Your visionary leadership, philanthropy, and legacy will forever inspire generations.”

Saurabh Raaj Jain simply mentioned, “India has lost its most shining RATAN, feels like a personal loss.”

Taking to her Instagram story, Munmun Dutta wrote, “This is the saddest part about this day. India lost a valuable son. A beacon of hope for stray animals, a true ethical leader who embodied everything right in this life made me cry. Sir you will be remembered forever.”

Leading TV actress Divyanka Tripathi wrote, “What a loss. Men like Mr Tata should live forever. You’ll be missed.”

Kushal Tandon added, “We lost a diamond, RIP sir you will be missed.”

Urvashi Dholakia was also moved by Ratan Tata’s death and she wrote, “Words cannot and will not be enough to define. This Visionary, The Philanthropist, The LEGEND & Much More Mr RATAN TATA. End of an Era.”

Ratan Tata’s body was kept for the public to pay homage at NCPA lawns, Nariman Point in Mumbai, till 3.30 pm. Following this, his body will be taken to the Prayer Hall at Worli Crematorium and then the final rites will be performed with full state honours at 4 pm onwards.
