New Delhi: After director Gabriel Range halted Britain's transportation grid, he has now taken his experiment with an alarming 'what if' scenario to the Death of a President.
It’s a film that promises to be provocative and controversial with a plot that revolves around the assassination of US President George W Bush and the aftermath of it.
Politicians across the spectrum from the Republican Party of Texas, Bush's home state, to New York Democratic Senator, Hillary Clinton, have criticized the movie for portraying the killing of a sitting president, reported Reuters.
The film opened to mixed reactions in the US, with many saying they were taken aback with Bush’s death in the film.
Several said they had been motivated to see the film by their intense dislike of Bush and his conservative policies, Reuters reported.
Two theatre chains in the US have declined to screen the film, while CNN and National Public Radio have refused to run advertisements for it, reported Reuters.
