New Delhi: As Twitterati talk about the release of 3D version of Ramesh Sippy's cult classic 'Sholay', actor Danny Denzogpa, who was also approached by the makers for the role of Gabbar Singh, too finds a convincing reason to trend on Twitter.
For those who came in late, UTV Motion pictures' reply "ANS 6: Yes its Danny Denzongpa who had to drop out last minute cos dates were clashing with Feroz Khan's Dharmatma. #Sholay3D #Contest" to its quiz question started it all.
As soon as the news of Danny Denzongpa turning down the offer due to prior professional commitments was spread on the microblogging site, a barrage of jokes followed. While some were users were decent, many poked fun at the actor and a few got offensive.
