BANGALORE: Depressed over husband’s extra marital affair, 27-year-old woman ended life by hanging herself. The incident was reported at Gajanana Apartment in Marenahalli in Vijayanagar police station limits in the wee hours of Tuesday.The deceased Mamatha, was married to Shivakumar, a software engineer.According to the police, Shivakumar allegedly had an extra-marital relationship, and Mamatha was aware about this affair. He allegedly harassed Mamatha and she was dejected over life. The couple fought on Monday night over the same issue and later she hanged herself from the ceiling fan.Shivakumar informed Mamatha’s brother Muralidhar about the suicide.“Muralidhar has made allegations against Shivakumar in the complaint. Action is initiated against the accused,” the police added.Guard dies in road accidentBahadur (45), a resident of Arakere, died after he was hit by a speeding two-wheeler in BBS Layout near Arakere in Mico Layout traffic police station limits on Monday.A security guard at a private firm, Bahadur was returning home in the night. When he was crossing the road, the bike hit him and killed on the spot.
