Former Shiv Sena UBT corporator Abhishek Ghosalkar was fired upon on Thursday by a notorious criminal Mauris Noronha in Mumbai’s IC colony over a personal dispute on Thursday evening.
According to reports, Abhishek Ghosalkar, son of Shivsena (UBT) leader Vinod Ghosalkar, was shot thrice. He was immediately rushed to Karuna Hospital in Borivali in a serious condition. According to sources, Morris, the man who shot at Ghoshalkar, shot himself later. Both have been declared dead by the authorities.
The incident took place when Abhishekh and Morris were live on Facebook, Indian Express reported.
Soon after receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and launched an investigation into the matter.
Notably, the incident comes days after a BJP MLA was caught on camera firing at an Eknath Shinde faction leader inside a police station at Ulhasnagar.
