Two Pak-trained terrorists who crossed over from Bangladesh were held by the BSF in West Bengal on Monday evening.
Kolkata: Two Pakistan-trained terrorists who crossed over from Bangladesh were held by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in West Bengal on Monday evening, on the eve of India's Independence Day celebrations.
Local TV channels quoting BSF sources said the two men, nabbed from Hingalgunge in North 24 Parganas district, are members of the terror outfit Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT).
BSF sources said the duo, initially suspected to be regular infiltrators, revealed in interrogation that they were trained in Pakistan and had entered India to deliver explosives, including RDX.
Security measures have been tightened in the state ahead of the 60th Independence Day Tuesday.
