THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI Court, here on Saturday, sentenced two persons found guilty of harbouring Latha Nair, one of the culprits in the sensational Kiliroor sex scandal case, to two years of rigorous imprisonment (RI).CBI Special Judge T S P Moosath also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 for the two in the verdict.The CBI had charged that the accused, Abdul Latheef alias Collector Latheef, of Devikulam, Idukki, and V K Devadas of Thiruvarppu, Kottayam, had harboured Latha Nair at Adimali and Kaviyoor and in two ashrams, one at Chempazhanthy, near here, and other at Chennithala, near Mavelikkara. Both were granted bail by the court. The same court had sentenced Latha Nair, along with four others, for 10 years RI and a fine of Rs 10,000 for conspiracy for gang rape on February 8.
