Spiritual belief
I don’t follow a particular religion and Hinduism, Islam, Christianity and other religions are the same to me. I think spirituality is about being close to oneself and understanding it. It’s about being positive and treating everyone in the way that you want to be treated.
Understanding of god
I believe in energy. The whole universe has power and there is god in everything. I don’t need any idol to feel the energy, and can sit anywhere and experience it. I pray to the unanimous power. Every creation is fascinating and nothing is man-made here.
Spiritual practice
I do meditate, but sporadically. I do it for a few months and pause for a while. But my grandparents have taught me some mantras that I chant whenever I feel like it. That gives me peace.
Miracles
I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. If something doesn’t work sometimes, I don’t hold on to it. I just move on, but sooner or later, I will realise that it has actually happened in my favour. And even if something good happens unexpectedly, over time, one will understand the true reason.
Pilgrimage spots
I have visited Dharmasala and been to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. I have visited Tirupati, Vaishnodevi Temple and Shibi as well, but didn’t enjoy myself there as much as I did in Dharmasala and the Golden Temple. Tirupati was too commercial a place for me.
