TDP stalls Assembly for fifth consecutive day

HYDERABAD: The state legislative Assembly adjourned without transacting business for the fifth consecutive day on Friday as the main opposition party, Telugu Desam, stalled proceedings demanding that government place the 26 controversial GOs before the Speaker. When the House sat for question hour  TDP members gathered at speaker’s podium and shouted slogans. Legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu appealed to them to allow discussion of power shortage and farmers’ problems.
