The role of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, who passed away, after she hanged herself at her apartment in Mumbai, wasn't just restricted to films. Like a responsible individual, she had posed for PETA to make people aware of thought-provoking issues. Shocked by the untimely death of the actress, PETA remembers Jiah for her support. "PETA and the animals have lost a great friend. The late Bollywood actor and a dear friend of PETA India Jiah Khan, was always there to help animals in distress and speak for them... Jiah was a compassionate person. Jiah will always be remembered by many for her beauty outside, but also for her beautiful heart, including her compassion for animals," PETA's statement read.
