SIT collects evidence from former state Attorney

KOCHI: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is investigating the ice cream parlour case has collected evidence from former state Attorney P C Iype.
It is learnt that a team from the SIT has collected evidence from Iype at his office on Market Road in Kochi. The Special Investigation Team led by ADGP Vinson M Paul had earlier interrogated Justice Thankappan and Justice K Narayana Kurup in connection with the case. There were allegations that the two judges had issued orders in favour of Muslim League leader P K Kunhalikutty in the ice cream parlour case after accepting bribe.Iype told 'Express' that officials from SIT had recently met him in connection with the case
