Shoaib Akhtar all set for a comeback
The Pakistani speedster will be making his comeback against Birmingham third-division league team Berkswell.

Karachi: Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar is all set to come back to competitive cricket and would play the first practice match for a Birmingham third-division league team Berkswell.

The opposition side for the ace Pakistani bowler would be St George from Telford, The News reported on Friday.

Even though the club batsmen have rarely faced anybody bowling at 80 miles per hour, their captain Matthew Tilt said the players were relishing the chance to play against world's fastest bowler.

"Playing against Shoaib Akhtar would be a high point of their cricket careers. They are all looking forward to it," he said.

Tilt is expecting that the match would pull a decent crowd with Shoaib taking the centre stage.

For Tilt and his fellow players the match might be a welcome change, but it would be a serious affair for the Rawalpindi Express, who was out of action since January after undergoing a knee operation to recover from an injury.
