THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two men who have made a name running long distances are planning the big one - run all the way from Kanyakumari to New Delhi. But on Wednesday, the duo had another aim in mind when they were flagged off from in front of the Secretariat - a job. Bahuleyan S of Dhanuvachapuram and his friend Sreenivasan K of Venganoor have started a run demanding that they be given suitable jobs to earn a living. Both men have run across the length and breadth of the state championing various causes. Bahuleyan is listed in the Limca Book of Records for running 660 km. Both of them have also run from one end of the state to the other as part of a charity. Sreenivasan had come first in the 50-km Ecorun Marathon 2011 and also ran from Venganoor, his hometown, to Marad in 2003 to spread the message of peace after the Marad riots. In a statement, they claimed to have run a total of 50,000 km and said they planned to run from Kanyakumari to New Delhi next.
