BANGALORE: The aftermath of the wall collapse was left with piles of debris of the building, shattered glass and huge cements block thrown apart due to the explosion. Also, due to the explosion, a house located at 50 metres away from the spot, was damaged. Lakshidevamma, aged about 65 years, was with her grandson in the house when she heard the sound of the explosion.“I was with my one-year-old grandson Chiru when explosion took place. My daughter-in-law Pallavi was doing household work.  All of a sudden, I heard a loud sound and immediately the door and windows broke.  Some cement blocks came crashing inside the house damaging refrigerator and other households. Fearing a bomb blast or earthquake had occurred, I picked up Chiru and came running out of the house. Pallavi was hit by a cement block on her back and I rushed her to a hospital. She is being treated there,” Lakshmidevamma explained to The New Indian Express.
