Telugu actor Rana Daggubati will feature in the first historical stereoscopic 3D movie, 'Rudrama Devi'oppsite Anushka Shetty in the title role. Gunasekhar is the director and producer, the film is produced under the banner of Guna team works. banner.
Gunasekhar says, "In the history of Kakatiya's, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram(now Nidadavalu), Chalukya Veerabhadra has got lot of importance. So we have selected Rana for this role, as he proved himself as an efficient actor in 'Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum'".
The maestro Ilayaraja has composed the music for the film.
The art direction is done by Thota tharani, Cinematography is by Ajay Vincent, Fights sequences are by Ram-Laxman, VFX Supervisor are by Kamal Kannan(Prasad VFX), Costumes designer is done by Neetha Lallu and Gunasekhar has written the story and the screenplay of the film.
