Rajasthan Youth Association loans out textbooks to 2,500 students

Students should make use of these books and develop their career.” R Ganesh, a second-year BE (Mechanical) student of the Pallavan College Of Engineering in Kancheepuram said, “I came here to get textbooks under the guidance of my sister, who has been using books issued by the RYA Book Bank for the past five semesters. For all the eight semesters, we need about `9,000 to purchase books. But here, we pay Rs 500 as deposit and get the books free of cost. After the final semester, RYA refunds the deposit amount.”Mayuri, a B.Com student of the Guru Shree Shanti Vijai Jain College for Women said, “The books provided by RYA are very useful to students who are unable to purchase books of their own.”J Anitha Mary of the Bharathi Womens’ College in Chennai said, “With RYA Book Bank’s textbooks, I  scored 82 per cent in B.Sc Computer Science. RYA too has recognised my high score and presented me a memento on this occasion.
