Mumbai: Rahul Mahajan, son of late Pramod Mahajan, will tie the nuptial knot with his old colleague from Jet Airways Shweta Singh in Worli in south-central Mumbai on August 29.
According to BJP sources, invitation has been sent to all the political leaders from BJP and other parties and many of them are expected to attend the ceremony.
BSP leader Gopinath Munde personally had gone to give the invitation to Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray for the endding.
Late Pramod Mahajan died on May 2, 11 days after he was shot at by his younger brother Pravin.
Later, Rahul and personal assistant of late Mahajan, Bibek Moitra got involved in drug controversy in which Moitra died while Rahul
was booked under Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act. After he got the bail he decided to marry his former colleague from Jet airways. Both were pilots with the airways.
