Punish HDK for bigamy

BANGALORE: JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy’s alleged marriage with Kannada actress Radhika is now mired in a legal tangle after a city-based advocate on Wednesday filed a writ petition seeking his disqualification from Parliament on charges of bigamy.In the writ petition filed before the High Court, the advocate, Shashidhar Belaguma, has stated that bigamy is punishable under section 495 of the IPC. Belaguma has also filed a copy of his bio-data, stating that he is legally married to Anita, during elections.
