THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Perasonnel and Administrative Reforms Department (P and ARD) of the State Government has issued a circular to all government departmetns,office heads and district collectors regarding the directions to the appointing authority make appointments of the candidates adviced by PSC on submission of the scanned copy of the candidates’ identity card alolong with the appointment order. P and ARD secretary T.J.Mathew issued the circular on the otherday intimating that now onwards, only scanned copy of the identity card of the candidate only would be sent along with the appointment order to the appoitinting authorities. The appointing authority should make the appointment after identifying the candidates based on the scanned copy. After conducting a verification by PSC, beside the police verification , PSC would send the verification certificate and original identity card of the candidate to the appointing authority. The original identity card should be affixed on the serevice book of the candidate and kept along the regularization certificate at the appointing authorities office. It has come to the notice of the government and PSC that some of the appoiting authorities were not allowing the candidates who produce the scanned copy of identity card to join duty citing that they need to have produced the origianl identity cards.
