A joint working mechanism for the coalition government has been worked upon.

Jammu: National Conference President Omar Abdullah is likely to be sworn in as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday he will be heading a coalition government with the Congress party.

Two others from the National Conference and 3 from the Congress will take oath along with Omar Abdullah who will be the state's youngest Chief Minister.

A joint working mechanism for the coalition government has been worked upon. The National Conference will be joining the UPA and the party will be presenting a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

It has been decided that NC and Congress will contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together.
