Mumbai: The death toll in July 13 Mumbai serial blasts moved up to 22 after another person succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. Surendra Singh, who got injured in Zaveri blast, died in JJ Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday morning. The hospital sources have confirmed Singh's death.

Three bomb blasts rocked some of the most crowded places of Mumbai on July 13. The first blast took place at 6:54 pm at south Mumbai's crowded Zaveri Bazaar. Within a few minutes Opera House and Dadar, too, were hit by powerful explosions.

The blast in Zaveri Bazar took place at Khao Gali while a motorcycle was used to trigger the explosion near the two-storey JK Building at Tata Road No. 1 in Opera House. The blast at Kabootar Khana in Dadar took place at a bus shelter.

The July 13 blasts took place just two days after the fifth anniversary of the Mumbai serial train blasts on July 11, 2006 in which at least 186 people were killed. The blasts also evoked horrific memories of serial blasts in the past as both Dadar and Zaveri Bazar have been targeted earlier too.
