New Delhi: Malayalam actor Mohanlal has won the Atlas Kerala Film Critics Award for the year 2013 for his performance in 'Drishyam'.
The movie, which is directed by Jeethu Joseph, received very good response from the audience and is being touted as one of the better thrillers of recent times.
'Drishyam' is about the struggles faced by a common man in his daily life. Mohanlal plays an uneducated farmer in the movie, who lives happily with his wife and two daughters.
Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 5 crore, the film has already minted over Rs 20 crore and continues to run to packed houses in Kerala as well as Tamil Nadu.
