CHENNAI: The much-awaited Corporate Hindu almanac, for the eleventh time, was released by the L&T in association with the Public Relations Society of India - Chennai Chapter, amid tremors and tsunami alert.Though delayed a bit by the second tremor around 4.40 pm, the event went on as usual, as the guest made it on time, braving the traffic and fear hype.Keeping with the National PR Day to observe the founding of the Public Relations Society of India on April 21, 1958 every year for the last 11 years, L&T is coming up with this theme calendar, which has all the five elements of the Hindu calendar.V S Ramana, GM, Head - Corporate Communications, said, “Though founded by Danish engineers, L&T, as a company, is rooted in Indian values, and ethos. ”This year’s calendar has ancient Indian games as the theme, inspired by the myths from Ramayana and Mahabharata and is illustrated by Gamen Palem.Cricketer Krishnamachari Srikanth released the calendar and appreciated the efforts of L&T.
