Land acquisition under Tahsildar

KOCHI: Two offices will be constituted under the Tahsildar for land acquisition for the Metro Rail Project. The survey for the land acquisition will be completed by then. The State Empowered Committee to fix the prices for the land acquisition will hold a meeting on the February 16. A decision on land acquisition will be taken as per the recommendation of the District Empowered Committee. The District Collector’s order to do away with registration in this regard is under consideration with the registration department.
