Kumily tense, panel cancels sitting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Justice M R Hariharan Nair Commission inquiring into the Pulmedu tragedy has cancelled its Kumily sitting scheduled from December 12 to 14. “The sitting has been cancelled in view of the tense situations prevailing at Kumily,” Commission said in a statement issued here on Tuesday. However, Anil Sreenivas, Kumili former Circle Inspector and Gireesh, the witness cited by the Police Department, will be examined in the Commission office here on Dec 12 and 13 respectively.
