CHENNAI: A one-day state level symposium, KRATOS’12, was organised at the Easwari Engineering College by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the Association of Computer Engineers recently. The basic aim of conducting the symposium was to enhance the co-curricular and extra-curricular talents of students. The symposium was inaugurated by Chief Guest, B Ezhilan, Head, Information Systems, L&T InfoTech, Chennai who stressed on the importance of students participating in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Guest of Honour Prashant Kochar, Delivery Manager, Mahindra Satyam, delivered the key note address. The event was Presided over by Dr Jothi Mohan Balasubramaniam, Principal, Easwari Engineering College. Dr S Chitrakala, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the dignitaries and the students of other colleges who attended the symposium. Chief Guest B Ezhilan released the symposium Magazine and Prashant Kochar received the first copy. With events such as paper presentation, debugging, PC-assembling, quiz, gaming, adzap and informals, nearly 1,000 participants attended the symposium.The occasion came to an end with the distribution of certificates by Professor Neelamegam, Administration and a vote of thanks by TM Navamani, co-ordinator of the symposium.
