BANGALORE: Kannada Development Authority (KDA) will soon launch a statewide new programme ‘Kannada Nuditheru’ to create awareness about the importance of Kannada as a communication medium.Addressing newsmen here on Friday, KDA chairman Mukyamantri Chandru said that the programme would be officially launched at Sullia in Dakshina Kannada district by CM D V Sadananda Gowda on October 12.He said that the programme would be held in all districts, especially in the border areas.The programme would be held in Udupi and D-K districts till October 15.Jnanpith awardee Chandrashekhar Kambar, Kannada and Culture Minister Govinda Karjol, Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala, District in-charge Minister Krishna J Palemar and Higher Education Minister Dr V S Acharya will also attend the programme.
