Infopark sets up helpline

KOCHI: The Infopark Kochi has set up a helpline for prospective employees to enquire about companies advertising for jobs or training. The decision came after Infopark received complaints about companies conducting job interviews and collecting money by assuring job placements. Those who wish to enquire about the companies can call the Assistant Manager, Marketing at 0484-2415217 and dial extension 110.  “Often many job seekers are not in a position to know if training and recruitments are genuine and whether the companies exist in Infopark. To help such job seekers and also to find out the genuineness of such firms advertising for training and job placements, we decided to set up this helpline number.  This will ensure that people get an opportunity to check on the companies in Infopark. The helpline is also for the Infopark spokes in Koratty and Cherthala,” said Infopark CEO, Gigo Joseph.
