Induction at VSCET

CHENNAI: Vels Srinivasa College of Engineering (VSCET) conducted a three-day induction programme for the first  year BE and BTech students, recently. K Purushothaman, Regional Director, NASSCOM, Chennai and T Raghunath, Director, Relax Academy were the Chief Guests. Purushothaman spoke on the job prospects and qualities required for the IT industry. He added that students as engineers need to be better managers as well. Raghunath said that every child should look up to his parents as their role model. He also advised that every individual should feel proud of his parents, alma mater and the nation. The second day focussed on career guidance, attitude development and coping with college life. The third day was an outdoor training programme.
