KOCHI: The Kerala High Court will pronounce the judgment in the contempt case against CPM leader M V Jayarajan on Tuesday. The contempt of court proceedings against Jayarajan were initiated following his remarks against the judges who issued a verdict banning public meetings on roads and road margins.The proceedings were initiated suo moto on the basis of a writ petition filed by Advocate P Rehim, a resolution of the Kerala High Court Advocates Association and other complaints received by the High Court.Jayarajan had made the remarks during a public speech in 2010 in Kannur. In his affidavit, Jayarajan had said that the criticism against the judgment was made with a ‘honest intention and bona fide purpose’ and he was only expressing his opinion in respect of the judgment in public.
