Washington: Former Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff was in for a shock when he decided to revisit the beach set of his most famous show.
The guard protecting the Malibu beach location failed to recognise the actor who played Mitch Buchanan in the series for eleven years and charged him $7 as admission fees.
"He was wandering down Malibu beach, when he passed the very place where they used to film Baywatch - now a tourist attraction - and thought he'd pop in to have a look," a witness said according to Contactmusic.
"However, the attendant failed to recognise him and tried to charge him $7 entry, like everyone else. Hasselhoff shook his head and muttered, 'Man, I used to own this beach', before reluctantly paying the charge," the witness added.
