Haryana government transfers 18 IAS officers
In a major reshuffle, Haryana government on Thursday transferred 18 IAS officers of various departments, including Excise and Taxation, Education, Industries and Home.

Chandigarh: In a major reshuffle, Haryana government on Thursday transferred 18 IAS officers of various departments, including Excise and Taxation, Education, Industries and Home.

An official spokesman said in Chandigarh Sudhir Rajpal, Excise and Taxation Commissioner has been posted as Principal Secretary, Cooperation relieving Alok Nigam of the said charge. In place of Rajpal, Shyamal Misra has been posted as Excise and Taxation Commissioner. Misra will also continue looking after his earlier assignment as Advisor and Secretary, Civil Aviation and Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, he said.

He was also holding the charge of Managing Director HAFED which has now been given to Ashok Kumar Yadav, Director General, Social Justice and Empowerment in addition to his present duties. Ankur Gupta, Director General, Higher Education and State Project Director, State Higher Education Council (ex-officio) in Higher Education Department under National Higher Education Abhiyan Scheme has been posted as Principal Secretary, Printing and Stationery relieving Vijai Vardhan of the said charge.

Anurag Rastogi, Director General, Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates has been posted as Principal Secretary, Environment and Monitoring and Coordination relieving Avtar Singh and Rajbir Singh of their said charges respectively.

Arun Kumar Gupta, Labour Commissioner, Director General, Industries and Commerce and Mines and Geology has been posted as Director General and Secretary, Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates and also of Mines and Geology. Sandeep Garg, Director General, Technical Education has been given the additional charge of Director General, Tourism and Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Corporation relieving Sumita Misra of the said charge.

Abhilaksh Likhi, Director General, Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs and Languages and Grievances has been given the additional charge of Director General Hospitality Department relieving Sumita Misra of the said charge.
