Happy with talks, says Nawaz Sharif after meeting PM Modi
Terrorism remained focus of the talks with both the leaders condemning terrorism in "all its forms" and agreed to cooperate with each other to eliminate the menace from South Asia.

Ufa(Russia): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday expressed satisfaction on bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ufa in Russia. "I am happy and satisfied with talks," he said.

The much anticipated bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Sharif took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. The meeting which was scheduled for 45 minutes was slightly extended and went for nearly an hour.

Terrorism remained focus of the talks with both the leaders condemning terrorism in "all its forms" and agreed to cooperate with each other to eliminate the menace from South Asia.

Modi and Sharif held the last bilateral talks in May 2014 in New Delhi when the Pakistan Prime Minister came to attend swearing-in ceremony of the Modi. They merely exchanged pleasantries during the SAARC summit in Kathmandu in November.
