London: Oscar-award winning actor Morgan Freeman will receive the Cecil B DeMille award for his contribution to entertainment at next year's Golden Globes.
The 74-year-old, best known for roles in 'Driving Miss Daisy', 'Million Dollar Baby' and 'Invictus', where he played Nelson Mandela, will be honoured with the prize during the ceremony Jan 15, reports contactmusic.com.
The accolade, the Golden Globes' version of a lifetime achievement award, has previously been given to actors Steven Spielberg, Robert DeNiro and Warren Beatty.
