HYDERABAD: Four men accused of killing faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, were remanded to prison for 14 days on Thursday. Manmohan Singh Bahadur, Sulam Subbaiah, A Venkataramana and B V Hari Babu were produced in a local court after their six-day custody of Crime Investigation Department (CID) ended on Thursday. They were later sent to Chanchalguda prison.While the Central Crime Station (CCS) of the city police nabbed four men and probed the case initially, it failed to arrest Bhanu Kiran, the mastermind behind Suri's killing.Suri was shot dead in his car at Yousufguda in January.The case was transferred to the CID from CCS. The arrested men did not reveal any important information other than what they had said to the CCS, said a CID official.
