Explosives found in Srikakulam

SRIKAKULAM: A bag reportedly belonging to Maoists of Nagavali dalam on the Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) containing 17 detonators, revolutionary literature and a letter demanding Rs. 5 lakh was found outside the house of Palakonda Agriculture Market Committee former chairman, P Krishana Murthy Naidu in Kambara village in the district on Tuesday.The letter further warned him of dire consequences if he failed to give the promised money. However, it did not mention the place where the amount has to be given to the dalam. Murthy immediately alerted the police.
