New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday told the court that Amir Abbas and Abid Hussain were the conspirators behind the September 7 blast outside the Delhi High Court.

NIA said that their remands are required to unearth the conspiracy and to find the complicity of the accused. Both have been booked under unlawful activities prevention act, criminal conspiracy for murder and attempt to murder and other relevant sections of IPC.

NIA further said that Amir had instructed two boys to send e-mail after news of the blast.

Earlier, a Delhi court on Thursday remanded Abid Hussain in NIA custody till October 5.

The NIA team sought custodial interrogation of Hussain, saying they have to unearth the entire conspiracy, which led to the blast.

Fifteen people were killed and over 70 injured in the blast outside the Delhi High Court. The probe was handed over to the NIA.
