ERODE: The BJP will decide on alliance with other parties in the ensuing local body polls at its State-level meeting to be held in Chennai on Tuesday, BJP state vice-president H Raja told mediapersons here on Monday.aInforming that some parties had already approached them for alliance, Raja said that the BJP had started receiving forms from aspiring candidates in the party all over the State a few days ago. In Erode district, the forms will be accepted from next week, he added.Raja lauded Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for streamlining power supply and instilling confidence among the people by taking stern action against land grabbers. He also urged her to fix a floor price for turmeric as farmers were suffering due to a deep slump in turmeric price and order a probe into the alleged deposit irregularities by emu farms in various parts of the State.
