New Delhi: State-owned Canara Bank donated Rs 5.67 crore to Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for rescue and relief operations in flood-ravaged Jammu & Kashmir.
The cheque was handed over by the bank's Executive Director A K Gupta here, Canara Bank said in a statement.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made an appeal to all Indians to donate generously to the PM's National Relief Fund for the flood-affected people in Jammu and Kashmir.
