London: A Briton is all set for a new Guinness world record for the longest motorbike - 22 metres long and with 25 seats.

Colin Furze, 31, spent a month building the motorbike, which is as long as a tennis court, the Daily Mail reported.

He used a 125 cc moped and extended it using an aluminium frame.

Furze, a plumber by profession, managed to drive the bike up to 35 miles per hour, but found it almost impossible to steer.

He constructed the massive motorcycle in three parts and then bolted them together.

In order to set a record, Colin had to drive the bike 100 metres, but he managed to ride more than a mile.

He will now send the video along with signed witness statements to Guinness so they can verify it.

The earlier record for the longest motorbike stands at 14 metres.
