BBMP gets international award

BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has received the international award titled ‘Environmentally Sustainable City’ instituted by the Euro India Centre.A press release issued by BBMP stated that Bangalore has been chosen as one of the six top cities for the same category.The organisers of the award have invited BBMP Mayor Sharadamma and Commissioner Siddiah to receive the award at the ‘Smart, Sustainable and Innovative cities, International Summit’ scheduled to be held on October 13 and 14 in Belgium, the press release added.
