Auto driver, coaching centre owner arrested for alleged links with banned SIMI
Two suspected activists of banned Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were held in Raipur on Thursday.

Two suspected activists of banned Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were held in Raipur on Thursday.

The local police were tracking the movement of the two - Abdul Wahid Khan (54) and Uber Sidhhiqui (35) - for the past few weeks and arrested them on Thursday after finding their connection with SIMI, Raipur Superintendent of Police OP Pal said.

Abdul, a resident of Pandri area, is an auto driver while Sidhhiqui runs a coaching centre in Raja Talab area.
