Arihant Retail is a case study at IIM-A

CHENNAI: The Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) has chosen Arihant Retail of Chennai for a Case Study. Under the guidance of a faculty member, students work to analyse and synthesise conflicting data and points of view to define and prioritise goals to persuade and inspire others who think differently, to think through situations, take decisions with incomplete and uncertain information and to examine the implications of decisions. The case method comes closest to ‘action learning’. Increasingly it is also employed by recruiters to screen candidates.Arihant Retail was chosen as one such organisation. The case will be used in its different programmers, especially in its Small and Medium Enterprises Education Programme.
