Anoop dedicates win to dad

PIRAVOM: On winning the Piravom bypoll with a  massive majority of 12,070 votes, Anoop Jacob said it was the result of a unified effort by the UDF.“It’s a lesson for us. UDF workers, right from the bottom to the top, worked together for the victory. The people have accepted the nine-month rule of the Oommen Chandy government. They have accepted the policies of the government. I dedicate this victory to my father,” said Anoop.Asked about the huge victory margin, Anoop  said he was sure to get a majority of at least 10,000 votes. “According to the calculations, we were sure to score over 10,000 votes. But the people have decided to shower their love for UDF and Oommen Chandy Government.”
