In addition, seats reserved under the central category accounted for another 22 seats, taking the tally to 39.Meanwhile, the number of vacant seats in 11 self-financed medical colleges was a formidable 79 on Monday morning. As expected, 18 students who had been accepted to private colleges jumped into the fray for the vacant government seats and pushed the vacancy tally to 97.
