Akshay Kumar's 'do not litter' lesson to Mumbai
Akshay Kumar's 'do not litter' lesson to Mumbai
Lately, Akshay stepped out of his car to pick up an empty cigarette pack from the road.

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar set an example for all of us lately by stepping out of his car in the middle of Mumbai traffic to pick up an empty cigarette packet from the road. He returned the packet to the guy who carelessly threw it out of his car's window. Because of the embarrassment caused, this man will never do this again.

Talking about the incident Akshay Kumar posted on his blog, "If we all treated the streets of India with as much love as we do our homes and temples, we would have five star ratings on cleanliness rather than being known as one of the dirtiest cities in the world. I know for sure the guy that littered in front of me today won't forget his actions. I must say I'm sorry for scaring him but don't abuse India's streets and maybe they won't abuse you."

We hope Akshay Kumar's cleanliness drive inspires others too. Akshay who preaches healthy living, lately urged his fans on twitter to quit smoking. It's great to see Bollywood actors talking about something other than their upcoming releases and the parties they attended.

People blindly follow trends set by their favorite Bollywood stars. We hope Akshay Kumar's request is clearly heard by everyone.

What's your reaction?
