MADURAI: An advocate in the city was found lying dead on a railway track, here on Thursday morning. According to police, the deceased was identified as Rajagopal(35), an advocate, and a resident of Pasumpon Nagar in Keeraithurai.Neighbours and family members informed the police that the deceased used to have domestic quarrels every other day.On Monday night, one such quarrel erupted in the family and Rajagopal left home around midnight.At 12.15 am, Rajagopal was hit by the Madurai-Rameswaram passenger while the train was crossing Keeraithurai area.On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Later, they sent it to the mortal remains to the Government Rajaji Hospital for autopsy. Police suspect that the case could have also been a suicide. The deceased advocate leaves behind his wife Kalanjiam, who is pregnant. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
